Death Code Society: black metal rhaaaaaa !!!

Hiya folks,

I just post here the myspace link to another band I am singing in (yep, I do have free time left since I left Misery Garden recently). This is called Death Code Society and this some kind of symphonic black metal in the vein of Emperor, Aborym and Anorexia Nervosa. We've just recently completed a 2 tracks demo, and posted the songs on-line. For those who might ask, we aren't looking for a label: the idea is to keep this band the most underground and "anti-business" we can, in order to be as free as possible. So we will surely orientate and control the distribution of the songs throught the use of internet.

I generally don't care for black metal (prefer death/melodic death), but this is pretty good! I'll keep an eye on this group!

Great stuff!!! Especially 'The Inner Vortex'. When I was listening it, closed my eyes and imagined a cruel typhoon that arrives smashing everything around. Rain like steel walls, thunderbolts everywhere. And that full of despair voice at 4:17. I was really feeling like the last human on earth. Then at 4:57 the eye of the vortex arrives. Everything is quiet for a few seconds, and you can observe damage caused by this typhoon. At 6:06 the edge of the vortex coming and then storm starts again. And with the ending guitar riff you realise that there's nothing you can do. Perfect!

no seriously, i think Emperor-black metal often sucks, but its okay, since the voice is good in this one. the production, aw well... its black metal ;D

i always thought the black metal harmonies are mainly Drop`s influence.....

Erm, dude, as much as I respect Ben and other members of Death Code Society, the fact that you said that they're better than Emperor is pure blasphemy. Ihsahn, Trym and Samoth? They fucking slay dude. And never will there be such awesome songs as Ye Entrancemperium, Towards the Pantheon, The Oath, With strength I burn and I am the black wizards. Including Curse you all men!

2 guys in a forum discussed a bit, but there no fight, just a bit of a discussion. and they could actually find a nice, lovely end.
now, there was 1 guy in that forum who wanted em to NOT end it and fight on with each other....

Check their Myspace page ! They are "in writing mode" But they also say that the writing process should be ended at the end of august ... which probably means end december
